We’re on the countdown to the end of Sale-A-Bration 2019 on 31st March so today I’d like to show you a card made with the All Adorned set that you can currently earn for FREE with a qualifying order…
I love the easy double layer stamps in this set. You simply need to line up the 4 dots on one stamp with the 4 circles on the other – no Stamparatus required, unless you want to use it of course. For my version I’ve combined Night of Navy and Smoky Slate inks.
As soon as I got my hands on this free stamp set I thought it might just line up with the Delicate Lace Edgelits dies and I was delighted to find out I was right!
So before I started stamping I used the largest edgelit on Night of Navy card. Using your Big Shot Die Brush is an absolute must with this die, I’d hate to have to poke out all the pieces with my paper piercer instead. I trimmed this to 14 cm long and added it to the layer to be stamped (which measures 10 x 14 cm).
This allowed me to line up the first 2 stamps in Night of Navy ink with the indents on the edgelit. I stamped the second layer in Smoky Slate ink and also used this stamp to fill in the gaps along the card. I then added this to my usual 14.5 x 10.5 cm thick Whisper White card base.
The All Adorned stamp set also includes the ‘You’re pretty much the best ever’ sentiment and I stamped this in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White card and used my Pretty Label punch to cut it out. I also used the punch on some Smoky Slate card, cut it in half lengthwise and glued it to the back of the stamped label so you see a little edge of it all around. The label was added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals pretty much in the middle.
The final touch was a bow from Night of Navy medium baker’s twine added with a glue dot.
