Hello & happy Friday!
I haven’t made tea bag envelopes for ages so I decided to change that with an Energise Me tea bag from the English Tea Shop. As the ingredients include blackberry leaves I decided that Nature’s Poem was the perfect designer series paper…..
The paper I used has leaves that are in the sumptuous Blackberry Bliss colour so seemed a perfect match for the tea.
I cut a piece of DSP to measure 5 inches square and then used my Envelope Punch Board (EPB) to punch and score at 2 & 3/8ths inches. As with every time I use the EPB, I turn the paper 90 degrees and line the pointer up to the line I’ve just scored, punch, score then repeat until you’ve done each side.
Normally I would add a belly band to close the envelope but this time I decided to use a sentiment label popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals so that you can tuck the envelope flap behind it…
I used the Be Strong, Be Happy, Be You sentiment from the Rooted In Nature stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink onto Petal Pink card that I cut with one of the circles from Stitched Shapes framelits dies and added to a Pretty Label Punch from Blackberry Bliss card.
These are so quick and easy to make and make a lovely little gifts – just because! I’ve listed the products used in this project below so you can click on any of them to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop. I’d be honoured to be your independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.
