Today I’ve got a card to share with you that again uses the FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp set Lasting Lily. One of the great things about this set, other than it being free, is that you don’t just have to use the Lily stamps…
The sentiments in this set can really stand on their own and don’t need to be used with the flowers. For this card I used a Whisper White card base measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold. I added a layer of Night of Navy card that measures 14 x 10 cm and then a layer of Garden Impressions designer series paper measuring 13.5 x 9.5 cm.
I cut a piece of Night of Navy card for the centre of my card and embossed it with the Petal Burst embossing folder.
I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with an oval from Stitched Shapes framelits dies. I also used the Sprig punch to cut 2 sprigs from Night of Navy card and Soft Sea Foam card to coordinate with the DSP. The sprigs were glued to the embossed layer and partially covered with the sentiment which was added with Stampin’ dimensionals.
