Hello, I thought I’d share a craft fair idea with you today. I’m nearly at the end of a rush of Christmas Craft fairs and shopping events. While I was busy making milk carton style boxes for votive candles I also made a few more to fill with chocolates.
I found that the same size of box I made for candles will easily take 10 of these delicious Twilight chocolate mints – yum!
You can click here to see how I made the candle boxes. I changed the decoration a bit so that I easily knew which box on my craft stall had chocolates and which had candles, without having to give them a sniff, lol.
I randomly stamped on Whisper White card using Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushel inks with stamps from the Beautiful Blizzard set. This has been one of my favourite stamp sets this year, especially in a variety of blue inks. I used this as my ‘DSP’ to add to each panel of my box.
The Merry Christmas stamp is from the Better Together stamp set and again I used Blueberry Bushel ink onto Whisper White card. I cut this using one of the dies from Layering Circles framelits. I cut a slightly larger circle from Blueberry Bushel car and added the stamped one onto it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used Whisper White Classic Weave ribbon to close the box.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this variation on a previous project and it gives you another idea for little gifts or stocking fillers.
I’ve listed the products used in this project below. You can click on any of them to visit my online Stampin’ Up! store. I’d be delighted to be your independent demonstrator.
Please remember that today is the last day for ordering products from the Snowflake Showcase, if you don’t order by 10.50pm GMT today then you’ll miss out forever.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
