Hooray it’s your day! – with Irresistible Blooms

With the launch of the gorgeous new products in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue last week, It can be easy to forget about the Online Exclusive products we have on offer too. They don’t appear in any catalogues but you can always check them out online, along with the awesome Kits Collection.

I’ve used the stamps, dies and designer series paper from the online Hello, Irresistible suite to create today’s card…

The paper has some designs that you can cut with the dies but I did mine a little differently. I cut my background piece of paper from a 6″ x 6″ sheet to measure 10 x 14 cm. On the larger leftover strip I stamped 3 flowers with Versamark ink, added black embossing powder and heat set it, before using the dies to cut them out.

I also heat embossed the sentiment onto the background DSP. I LOVE the shine you get from heat embossing, don’t you?

I also stamped the leaves onto another leftover piece of the Hello, Irresistible paper. This is a great way to get colour and shading on the flowers and leaves with absolutely no effort, the paper does it all for you!

I die cut the long piece from Basic Black card and added that to my background layer on the card base before adding the flowers with dimensionals. I glued some of the leaves down and popped some up with mini dimensionals too…

I really like the end result and it was certainly a lot easier than it looks – always a bonus!
