Today’s card is a combination of new and old. The new is some stunning paper from the By The Bay 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper pack and the old is the Waves Of Inspiration bundle…
Don’t they work well together? The paper does a lot of the heavy lifting, I’ve only added the 2 waves die cuts (one in Balmy Blue and the other Basic White), stamped a few birds and added a heat embossed sentiment. Easy peasy!
My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm. I’ve added a Balmy Blue card layer measuring 10 x 14 cm and then my DSP layer is 9.5 x 13.5 cm.
My sentiment is from Waves of Inspiration and I stamped with Versamark onto Night of Navy card, added white embossing powder and heat set it. I die cut it with the largest banner die from Stylish Shapes and chopped off the left side so it only has the flag at at the right side.
It’s a simple card but I hope you agree that it’s very effective.
