As soon as I saw the circles on this card sketch I knew I just had to use the Cottage Wreaths stamp set and coordinating Country Wreaths dies. I stamped the wreaths with Evening Evergreen ink onto Very Vanilla card and though they looked a little bit vintage so I ran with the idea and created this card…
My card base is Very Vanilla Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I cut an Evening Evergreen layer that measures 10 x 14 cm and a Very Vanilla layer to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm. I added some crumb cake ink to the vanilla layer with a blending brush and some splashes of it with a Water Painter.
The bows, berries and the sentiment were stamped with Poppy Parade ink as I thought this lighter shade of red would look a little ‘older’ and fit the vintage vibe. Some extra Crumb Cake ink helped too.
I glued the Evening Evergreen and Very Vanilla layers together then added some linen thread across the centre of the card before adding them to the card base. The top and bottom wreaths were simply glued on but I popped the centre one up with dimensionals…
I hope you’ve enjoyed my card for this challenge. Why not try out this card layout too?
