Framed & Festive meets Christmas Season

I hope you are well.

Today’s card sees a combination of the old and new. The old is the Christmas Season stamp set and the coordinating Seasonal Labels dies from the current Annual Catalogue. The new is the Framed & Festive stamp set and the Framed Florets dies that were just released on 1 November 2022…

Don’t they work well together?

My card base is Soft Suede and I added a Basic White layer that I embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D folder.

I used Real Red, Garden Green, Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede to stamp the pine cones, berries and leaves from Christmas Season and then cut them with the coordinating dies from Seasonal Labels

I stamped the sentiment from Framed & Festive onto a piece of Soft Suede card that I’d cut into an oval with one of the Framed Florets dies. I used Versamark ink, added white embossing powder and heat set it. The white frame is also a Framed Florets die…

I popped the sentiment oval up with dimensionals and added my final touch with 2 Gold Holly Leaves and 3 red rhinestones.

In the process of creating this first card I then had a Soft Suede frame and a Basic White oval left over. So I set about making another card with them, similar to my first one…

I simple stamped the sentiment from Framed & Festive with Soft Suede ink this time but the rest was pretty much the same.
