Hello, I hope you are well.
When I first saw this week’s Creative Colour Challenge I thought YUK! and maybe I won’t bother with this one. But I guess it’s not much of a challenge if you only take part in the colour combinations you like; so I put my thinking cap on and set about working out what to make with these 3 colours…

I realised that the He’s The Man designer series paper pack has a Cajun Craze design in it so picked that out first of all. That led me to the He’s All That stamp set and the All That dies and this is what I created with these great products…
I used my Stampin’ Write markers in all 3 colours to add ink to the birthday stamp in the He’s All That set. I like to use my Stamparatus when I add ink with my markers, so that if I miss a bit I can add more ink and try again – I definitely don’t waste as much card when I use my Stamparatus so I’m sure it’s paid for itself by now!
Once I was happy with my stamped image I cut it with a die from the All That set. To bring in the DSP I backed the stamped die cut with a piece that measured 5 x 7 cm and cut the corners of it with the Very Best Trio punch. It works so well with this die, don’t you think? I then used the punch on a piece of Basic Gray card measuring 6 x 8 cm and glued all 3 together. I also die cut 2 flagged pieces of Evening Evergreen card and added them to the back of the Basic Gray card.
I made my usual card base of Basic White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm. I added a layer of Evening Evergreen measuring 10 x 14 cm and then Basic White card measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm. I thought it was too plain so die cut lots of those checkered pieces from Basic White card and added them to the top layer to make it look a bit like it’s been embossed…
I popped on the layered sentiment with dimensionals and then the final touch was to add some Rustic Metallic dots on the Basic Gray layer.
I really like the end result and I hope you do too. Why don’t you see what you can make with these colours and join in the fun?
