Creative Colour Challenges 45 featuring Summer Shadows dies & Sun Prints DSP

Hello, I hope you are well.

I’ve not been able to take part in the last few Creative Colour Challenges from Vickie Lou Designs as I’ve been away from my beloved craft rooms on vacation. I’m back and the first thing I did was check out this week’s 3 colours…

I used the Sun Prints designer series paper to add in the Gray Granite with lots of lovely layers…

The Polished Pink and Mossy Meadow were a perfect combination for the Summer Shadows dies. I cut and layered the larger flowers and leaves and cut the smaller ones to add in too.

My sentiment comes from Framed Occasions which works so well with the Stylish Shapes dies. I stamped the sentiment with Gray Granite and stamped the circle of dots with Polished Pink and then cut it with one of Stylish Shapes dies. I cut some Gray Granite card with a larger circle die to back the sentiment one.

I added the flowers and leaves, along with some Polished Pink ribbon and then popped the circles on with dimensionals…

The final touch was to add some of the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds in Polished Pink.

The measurements for my card are as follows:

• Basic White Thick card measuring 10.5 x 29 cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm
• Gray Granite card layers measuring
  • 10 x 14 cm
  • 8 x 8 cm
  • 4 x 13 cm
• Sun Prints designer series paper measuring
  • 9.5 x 13.5 cm
  • 7.5 x 7.5 cm
  • 3.5 x 12.5 cm
