As promised in yesterday’s blog, I’d love to share more of the inspiring swaps I received on Saturday at the Celebrating Scotland independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators event.
I’ve grouped this first set together as they all demonstrate some of the wonderful sentiments Stampin’ Up! have created for us to share…
The card front with the jigsaw piece on it was made by Diane Wood and uses the Love you to Pieces stamp set and the Puzzle Pieces Framelits. The Wood Textures DSP was cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
The bookmark at the back was made by my stamping bestie, Valerie Broomfield of www.valerieshandmadegifts.co.uk. Valerie used the sentiment from Colourful Seasons stamp set with silver embossing powder on Very Vanilla card. She also used 2017-2019 In Color DSP and card with Layering Squares Framelits and finished it off with Silver Metallic edge ribbon and Glitter Enamel Dots.
The card topper at the front was made by Kirsty Patterson and I was lucky enough to sit beside her at the event. Kirsty has used a sentiment from Abstract Expressions on Highland Heather card.
Unfortunately I don’t know who made the other 2 projects. The From Me To You stamp comes from Time for Tea stamp set (and the envelope contained a tea bag) and the final project used the wonderful Waterfront stamp set. Once you take the belly band off this one it forms into a cube thanks to a very clever use of an elastic band!
The card front on the left was made using one of my all time favourite sets, Touches of Texture and the sentiment is from Flourishing Phrases. Although whoever created this added all the products used to the back, they didn’t add their name. The other card, using one of our Very Vanilla notecards & envelopes, was created by Christina Johnston. Christina used the Sea of Textures stamp set. The inks she used were Balmy Blue, Old Olive and Coastal Cabana. I love the way she’s used the Copper trim on this card.
This group of projects all use the fabulous Rooted In Nature set, which is the same as I used for my swap and we used this for our other Make & Take session on the day. This shows you just how versatile this set it! The card at the top left was made by Rhoda MacPherson, who also share her wonderful photography skills during the event. I love the way Rhoda has used a velum layer over the tree stamp to soften it.
The Crumb Cake card front was created by Denise Shepherd. It looks like Denise has used the Stamparatus to make this ombre effect with the word ‘wonderful’. It’s very easy with the right tools but very effective too.
Finally the package at the top right was made by my lovely new friend Valerie Litten and this is what was inside…
