I realised at short notice that I didn’t have enough Easter cards yet so pulled out the Daffodil Daydream stamp set and did a quick bit of colouring with my Stampin’ Blends to create this bright card…
Daffodil Delight seemed the obvious and perfect choice of card to use and I combined it with Very Vanilla for this multi layered card.
I stamped the daffodil image with Pear Pizzazz ink and then coloured the leaves with Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight blends.
The sentiment is from the Celebrating You stamp set, although there is an Easter Blessings one in the Daffodil Daydream set. I stamped with Daffodil Delight ink and used my Double Oval Punch.
Those Brushed Brass Butterflies were the perfect finishing touch, I love the way they reflect the light…
The measurements for this card were as follows:
- Daffodil Delight card base – 29 x 10.5 cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm
- Very Vanilla layer – 10 x 14 cm
- Daffodil Delight layer – 9.5 x 13.5 cm
- Very Vanilla layer for stamping – 9 x 13 cm
- Very Vanilla layer for the inside – 10 x 14 cm
- Very Vanilla and Daffodil Delight card scraps for the sentiment
