Oh my goodness I’m so in love with the In Color Shimmer Vellum! I’ve used the Polished Pink coloured vellum to create the most amazing flower using the Daisy Punch and Medium Daisy Punch and added it to this card…
My card base is Polished Pink card that measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm to create a landscape tent fold.
I cut a piece of the Pearlescent speciality paper to measure 13.5 x 9.5 cm and embossed it with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder. Before adding this to the card base I added some Polished Pink open weave ribbon, securing the ends on the back. I also added another piece of ribbon to give the impression of tails that would appear from under the flower.
I punched 3 of the larger daisies and 3 of the medium one from the shimmer vellum and glued them all together then added them over the ribbon.
I stamped the sentiment from the Through It Together stamp set with Stazon ink (the ink least likely to smudge!) onto the Pearlescent paper and gave it time to dry before cutting it with a Stitched Rectangle die. I used a larger rectangle die to cut some Polished Pink card, glued them together then added them over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Just look at all that shimmer and shine…
