Today’s card is full of shimmer and shine with the gorgeous metallic Simply Elegant speciality designer series paper and gold heat embossing…
I love this paper with its combination of copper, silver and gold but I thought it needed balanced out with some white space.
My card base is Basic Black card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I cut 2 pieces of Basic White card each measuring 10 x 14 cm; one for the front and the other for the insert.
I stamped that gorgeous big filigree style stamp with Versamark ink, added Gold embossing powder and heat set it. I did the same with the sentiment.
I cut a piece of DSP to measure 10 x 4 cm and cut off the edge with the die from the Scalloped Contours set. I also added a bit of the same DSP to the bottom of the insert, it was 2 x 10 cm.
My finishing touch to this luxurious card was to add 3 champagne rhinestones. Check out all that shine…
