Hello everyone.
It’s Friday so I’d like to show you a fun fold card that I made for a friend to give to her daughter recently…
I love the Playing With Patterns pack of designer series paper (DSP) from Stampin’ Up! for the range of colours and the fun spots and stripes in the designs. This fold is known as the Joy Fold and that just seems so right for a birthday card with this fun paper!
I used Calypso Coral card measuring 22 x 10.5cm for my card base, scored at 7.5 cm. I added a layer of the DSP to the inside of the card that measures 10 x 14 cm and another piece on the front that measures 10 x 7 cm.
The second part of the joy fold card was made with Crushed Curry card measuring 20 x 8 cm, scored at 10 cm.
I added a piece of DSP to the front that measures 9.5 x 7.5 cm and added my stamped sentiment and a layer of Calypso Coral card cut with 2 of the Stitched So Sweetly dies.
The Happy Birthday comes from the Happy Thoughts stamp set and the rest is from the Family Party set.
I added Basic White card measuring 9..5 x 7.5 cm to the inside for a handwritten message.
The edge of the Crushed Curry part of the card tucks neatly under the Polka Dot tulle ribbon when the card is closed. This ribbon is a little bit stretchy so you don’t even have to slide it along.
The final touch was to add some of the Frosted & Clear Epoxy gems to the card front.
I’ve listed all of the products I used for today’s fun fold card below. You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop.

Happy crafting,
