Brushed With Beauty key ring gifts

Hello! I hope you are well. In addition to the swaps I made to take with me to OnStage I also made some extra gifts for friends that I’ll be meeting during the 3 day event. Here are the Brushed With Beauty key ring gifts I made…

At first I thought I’d get some plastic key rings that you can add photos of DSP inside, but when I was looking for them online I came across these wooden block ones. I thought they looked quite cool so quickly changed my mind. When they arrived, the colour wasn’t quite what I expected but by that time I was committed to the idea.

So I trimmed little pieces of the gorgeous Brushed With Beauty designer series paper and glued them onto 2 sides of the wooden blocks (the ones that didn’t have holes for the cord)

Then I found some white and cream organza bags to pop them into. And decided I should add a little tag. The Encircled With Love stamp was perfect for the job. I stamped this with Darling Duckling ink on white card and cut it with the 1-3/4″ circle punch. Then I backed that with a 2-3/8″ circle of the Brushed With Beauty paper…

I wanted to add my details to the back of the tags and thought about making some stickers until I realised that I could use the 1-7/8″ circle punch on my business cards and glue that to the back of the DSP. That was so much easier!

I stamped some of the tags with Calypso Coral ink…

And to use up my cream coloured organza bags I switched to Very Vanilla card and Darling Duckling ink for some of them…

The final touch was to add a little rhinestone to the middle of the stamped bow on each tag.

These came together so quickly and easily! If I had more time I would have investigated some kind of clear coat to protect the DSP. But I will just have to live in hope that it deals with a decent bit of wear and tear.
