Greenery Lane card – Touches of Ink Blog Hop February 2026

Today I’m taking part in the Touches of Ink blog hop, so you may have joined me from my lovely friend Vickie’s blog. Welcome! This blog hop has no set theme, but instead we get to use any current Stampin’ Up! bundle or suite of products. I decided to make a Greenery Lane card for you…

ABOUT MY CARD

The Greenery Lane dies coordinate with both the stamps and the Greenery Lane washi tape. But for today’s card, I simply added the washi tape to some Basic White card and used it like designer series paper. My card base is Pretty Peacock card and then then I added a layer of Pretty Peacock double sided card, showing the lighter side. I added my washi tape layer on top

Then I stamped some of the greenery outlines with full strength Pretty Peacock and Garden Green inks. I inked up the infill stamps but stamped off onto scrap paper before stamping over my outline images. The lighter shade of ink you get from this technique gives a nice contrast to the darker lines. Once I die cut these pieces I was ready to add them with my sentiment.

I stamped the love and hugs with Pretty Peacock ink onto Basic White card and cut it with a 2″ circle punch. I used the 2-3/8″ circle punch to cut out the darker side of the Pretty Peacock two tone card. Before glueing these 2 circles together I arranged the die cut leaves and some loops of white Baker’s Twine that I had previously unravelled so it’s not so thick…

The circles were popped up with dimensionals. And then I added a layer of white card with a little stamping to the inside of my card…
