THE CHALLENGE

ABOUT MY CARD

When I first saw this week’s 3 colours they gave me a tropical vibe and then I remembered that it’s September and I live in Scotland, so changed my mind to something autumnal! That led me to grab the Natural Botanicals stamp set. This set is a fun one where you can use both sides of each stamp. Firstly I used the solid side of the stamps to add each of the 3 colours to a piece of Basic White card. Then I stamped the line images over with Granny Apple Green ink. To fill in some space I also stamped more of the line images of the smallest leaf with Granny Apple Green ink.

Then I stamped a leaf onto Lemon Lolly card and fussy cut it. I decided that both my fussy cut leaf and my stamped background needed the extra autumnal detail of splashed ink – oh that was fun, but a little bit messy too…

The finishing touch was to colour some small rhinestones with my Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends.
