Snowy Delights card – Touches of Ink Blog Hop September 2025

Today I’m taking part in the Touches of Ink blog hop, so you may have joined me from Karina’s blog. Welcome! I’ve used a gorgeous bundle from the September to December 2025 mini catalogue. This is my first Snowy Delights card…

ABOUT MY CARD

This is the first time I’ve had a chance to play with this stunning Snowy Delights bundle. First of all I used the layering decorative masks with Balmy Blue ink and a blending brush, onto Basic White card. Then I used one of the dies from the bundle to cut it out. There’s a slightly larger outline die so I used that with Balmy Blue card and glued them together.

Next I had a play with the other 2 snowflake dies in the set, using Basic White card. I couldn’t decide which one to layer on top so I added both!

I decided that I would add this to a square card base that measures 5-3/4″ x 5-3/4″. Then I added a square of Balmy Blue card on top of the base. This measures 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. I cut a piece of Basic White card to measure 5-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ and before adding that to my card base I used another die from Snowy Delights to cut into each corner.

This gives a lovely effect but you are left with quite a few white bits all over your desk! So, I added 2 of them to the centre of my layered snowflake and finished it with a gem…

I love the dimension you get when you only glue the layers in the middle. My final touch was to add a sentiment from Snowy Delights stamped with Balmy Blue ink and cut with the label die from the bundle. Oh and some more of those snowflakes that were all over my desk.
