THE CHALLENGE

ABOUT MY CARD

This is such a fun way to use up any thin scraps of card or designer series paper! I simply added 1cm wide strips of each card colour to a piece of Basic White card then cut a circle from it with my 1-7/8″ circle punch. But any similar sized punch or die would do the trick. Then I added my card layer to the card base and glued the punched circle back into the hole it had created, but at a jaunty angle…

Then I stamped the ‘Happy Birthday’ with Crushed Curry ink, the ‘to’ with Flirty Flamingo and the ‘you’ with Real Red.

The finishing touch was to add a few rhinestones. As I said, so quick and simple, but I think it’s really effective too! What do you think?
