Hello, I hope you are well. Today I’m taking part in this week’s Creative Colour Challenges with a Christmas card, even although the colours are not at all traditional Christmas ones! Here’s my A Little Cheer card…

THE CHALLENGE
Each week my friend Vickie of Vickie Lou Designs challenges us to get creative with 3 randomly selected colours. I love joining in this challenge whenever I can. So you can join in too, these are the colours for this week’s challenge over at www.creativecolourchallenges.blogspot.com

ABOUT MY CARD
This is the first time I’ve had the chance to get creative with the A Little Cheer stamp set! I wasn’t too sure how it would work with these colours but I actually love the result.
I cut 4 pieces of Basic White card with the smallest square die from the Perennial Postage set. Then I stamped 2 of the small images from A Little Cheer with Summer Splash, one with Fresh Freesia and my sentiment with Basic Gray.
The next stage was to add these 4 die cuts to a piece of Silver Foil that measures 3″ x 3″ then back that with Fresh Freesia card measuring 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″. This was simply adhered to my 4″ x 4″ card base…

Then I stamped another sentiment inside with Basic Gray ink, followed by some stars in Fresh Freesia…

This would be such a quick and easy card to recreate for Christmas and you could easily vary the colours if you prefer more traditional ones.
