Charming Day birthday card

Hello! I hope you are well. I am really enjoying being creative with the Online Exclusive Floral Charm product suite collection. Everything in the suite is simply gorgeous! So, today I’ve used the Designer Series paper, the stamps, the dies and the ribbon to create this Charming Day birthday card…

ABOUT MY CARD

There are so many beautiful designs in the Floral Charm designer series paper pack that it’s easy to let the paper do most of the heavy lifting! My card base is Petal Pink. I added a piece of the DSP to a layer of Cloud Cover card and wound some Cloud Cover ribbon around it, before adhering it all to the card base.

I was tempted to simply add a sentiment and call it a day, but the Charming Day dies were sitting on my desk just waiting for their moment to shine. How could I refuse? So, I used the long flower die and cut it from Petal Pink card and also from Cloud Cover card. I simply snipped the flower head from the Petal Pink piece and glued it to the Cloud Cover die cut…

I love how well this goes with the designer series paper behind it! The sentiment is from the Charming Day stamp set and I used Night Of Navy ink on Basic White card that I trimmed to fit. I used Tear & Tape adhesive to add some of the Petal Pink braided trim to the back of the sentiment piece and then more to add it to the card.

To complete the card I added a Basic White layer inside that I blended with some Petal Pink ink and added another Cloud Cover die cut with one of the other Charming Day dies…
