Country Woods thank you card - Stamp with Nellie

Hello! I hope you are well. Sometimes, making masculine cards can be difficult. But when you have fabulous neutral designer series paper, big bold sentiments and Stylish Shapes dies to play with, it can be quite easy. Here’s my Country Woods thank you card that I think will be great to give to one of the kind men in my life…

ABOUT MY CARD

My card base is Pecan Pie and I have a layer of Early Espresso card. The rest of the pieces on the card front are all cut from Country Wood designer series paper. Even the sentiment was stamped straight onto the DSP.

The squares of DSP were all cut with the second smallest square die from Stylish Shapes. The dark circle was cut with the second largest circle and the sentiment circle was the next size down.

My sentiment comes from the With You In Mind stamp set and I used Early Espresso ink. I love all the textured images from the Country Woods DSP and the stitching details from the Stylish Shapes. They are a great combination…

My final touch on the card front was to add some of the Neutrals sequins for some subtle shine.

Because I love this DSP so much I added a leftover strip to the inside of my card and to the flap of the envelope…

I hope you like this Country Woods thank you card. Now, I’m thinking this layout would look nice with floral DSP too. What do you think?
