ABOUT MY CARD
I used this colour challenge as an excuse to play with the Damask Designs embossing folder for the first time. And I love it! The detail on my Pecan Pie card layer is simply gorgeous. I used the Delightful Wishes stamps and dies bundle to bring in the other two colours from this week’s challenge.
The three flowers were die cut from the Strawberry Slush card in two parts, but I added Wink Of Stella to the top parts before adhering to the bottom parts. You can just about see the sparkle in this photo…
The Wishing was die cut from Night of Navy card and backed with Very Vanilla card. I stamped the second part of the sentiment with Night Of Navy ink on Very Vanilla card too, and cut it with another Delightful Wishes die. The die cut label slides nicely through the loop on the ‘g’!
I needed to add some Very Vanilla card to the inside of my Pecan Pie card base, so it got a little bit of stamping with Strawberry Slush ink too…
My final touch on the card front was to add some Strawberry Slush flat pearls.
