Wildflower Birthday pop up gift package – tutorial

Hello! I hope you are well. The Wildflower Birthday suite collection is simply fabulous! And very versatile too. It’s definitely not just for birthdays. I’ve used it for this pop up gift package…

I used the Wildflower Birthday DSP pack, the Wildflower Celebrations two tone card and the Birthday Celebrations stamp to decorate this fun gift package.

When you lift the front section up this is what is revealed…

A really simple mechanism pops the gift up as it slides out of the bottom section…

I had another one of those sweet motivation bracelets and recorded a video while I made a Wildflower Birthday pop up gift package for that one too…

MEASUREMENTS

To make the Wildflower Birthday pop up gift package I made in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies:

• Pretty In Pink Two Tone card for the outer piece measuring 12″ x 3-1/4″
  • score on the long side at 4-1/2″, 5″, 9-1/2″ and 10″
• Pretty In Pink Two Tone card for the inner section measuring 2-1/2″ x 4-1/2″
  • score on the long side at 1/4″ and 3/4″
• Pretty In Pink Two Tone card for the sides (2 pieces) measuring 2″ x 1-1/2″
  • score each one on the short side at 1/2″ and 1″
• Basic White card layers as follows
  • 3-1/8″ x 4-3/8″
  • 3-1/8″ x 1-7/8″
• Wildflower Birthday designer series paper as follows:
  • 3″ x 4-1/4″
  • 3″ x 1-3/4″
• Basic White card to stamp and die cut sentiment with 1-3/4″ circle punch
• Pretty In Pink Two Tone card to cut with a 2″ circle punch
• Embellishments from the Wildflower Birthday DSP pack and Party Dots

The outer dimensions of the pop up gift package = 3-1/4″ wide, 4-1/2″ tall and 1/2″ deep. The inner pop up section that you attach the gift to measures 3-3/4″ x 2-1/2″
