Trusty Tools card – Touches of Ink Blog Hop April 2025

Today I’m taking part in the Touches of Ink blog hop, so you may have joined me from Janice Thomson’s blog. Welcome! I’ve used a stamp set that is currently available and will continue to be available in the next annual catalogue too – yippee! Here’s my Trusty Tools card…

ABOUT MY CARD

There is a die set that coordinates with the Trusty Tools stamp set but I chose just to use the stamps for today’s card. I stamped various tools onto a piece of Basic White card with Basic Gray ink and then coloured them with Stampin’ Blends. I’ve listed the colours I used in my product list below.

To fill in some of the small gaps I stamped the screws and bolts with Basic Gray ink too. There are 3 little images on the 1 stamp, so I had to mask some of the stamp off before inking it up. This is a little bit fiddly but worth the effort.

My sentiment is stamped with Azure Afternoon ink onto Basic White card and cut to the same width as my stamped card layer. I backed this with some Azure Afternoon card before adding it to my card. The stamped layer was glued to a Poppy Parade layer and then onto a Basic White Thick card base. I used my Stampin’ Blends to colour some rhinestones for my final touch…
