ABOUT MY CARD

I bought the With You In Mind stamp set for the beautiful big sentiments! And this was my first play with some of the smaller image stamps in the set.

I stamped the little hearts with Blueberry Bushel ink, the flowers with Pumpkin Pie and the stars with Crushed Curry. The stamped pieces of Basic White card all measure 9.5 x 4.25 cm. I glued the hearts and star pieces first and put the flowers in the middle of them. Using wet glue gives you a little bit extra time to make sure you’re happy with your spacing. My card base is my normal Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment with Blueberry Bushel ink and trimmed my Basic White card to fit. Then I backed that piece with some Pumpkin Pie card. As I wanted to keep the card nice and flat I simply glued the sentiment on, rather than pop it up with dimensionals.

My final touch was to add some iridescent foil gems.
