Hello! I am very sorry that I’ve been missing in action over the weekend! I’ve been a little bit under the weather and haven’t managed to find the energy to get into my craft room in days. Thankfully, I’m feeling well enough now to share this Night of Navy decorative trees card with you…
I love the Painted Trees dies and they way that you can layer up part of the trees to get so many variations. For this one, I cut the background tree from Basic White card and then added the stripy one in Night of Navy card on top. I also cut the baubles and star from Basic White card.
My card base is Night of Navy, with a Basic White layer and then a further Night of Navy layer. The top Night of Navy card layer has Night of Navy ink around the outside edges and some Whisper White ink blended in the centre to give the tree a halo effect.
I cut another layer of Basic White card and ripped it into 3 sections, stamping my sentiment on the bottom piece. Before adding these to my card I blended a tiny bit of Night of Navy ink to the ripped edges and layered them onto the card…
My tree was popped up with dimensionals and my final touch was to add lots of lovely rhinestones.
I enjoyed making the first one so much that I went on to make this other one…
