Hello! I hope you are well. It has been so long since I took part in the Creative Colour Challenges and I’m almost out of time for this week’s one too! But I have found a little bit of time to use this week’s 3 colours for this Decorative Trees Christmas card…

ABOUT MY CARD
Who’s says Christmas trees need to be green? Not me!! I absolutely LOVE the Decorative Trees stamp and dies bundle and will use any excuse to get creative with it. Including a pink, blue and grey colour challenge!
I’ve been using my blending brushes on quite a few personal cards lately and so decided to use them for this Decorative Trees Christmas card too. After die cutting the Balmy Blue and Petunia Pop tress, I blended on some of the same coloured ink to each tree. I started at the base of the trees and stopped roughly half way up. Then I added the Basic Gray die cut pieces on top
I also blended some Whisper White ink onto my piece of Basic Gray card before adding the 2 trees. The Balmy Blue one is simply glued in place and the Petunia Pop one was raised with dimensionals…
.
Instead of adding gems, I used the white pearlised enamel effects. I had fun with this but I think I need a bit more practice with them. I’m definitely late to the party with using them
Finally I stamped the lines from the Decorative Trees set with both colours of ink and added my sentiment.
Remember, you can take part in this colour challenge too. Just click here to find out more. You don’t need to have a blog to enter, you can just upload a photo of your project using this week’s colours.
