Hello! I hope you are well. I’ve got another clean and crisp card to share with you all today. This time it’s a simple Yuletide Village Christmas card…
My card base is Shaded Spruce and then I just have one layer of Basic White on top. I stamped the lovely houses and trees from the stamp set with Basic Gray ink and coloured the images with Stampin’ Blends. I did add some Wink Of Stella to the snowy parts of the images too. Snow just has to have a bit of sparkle, doesn’t it?
I then stamped the sentiment from Greetings of the Season at the bottom of the white card, using Shaded Spruce ink.
To step my simple Yuletide Village Christmas card up a bit, I embossed it with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder. However, I didn’t want to emboss the sentiment so I didn’t insert the card fully into the folder. I made sure only the top section was embossed, as you can see in this photo…
The final touch was a few rhinestones for even more sparkle. I like the clean look and the options for colouring the houses in nearly endless – what colours would you choose?
