Hello! I hope you are well. Yesterday, as part of the Project Share Project, I showed you one of a series of Christmas cards created by Verity of www.InkyButterfly.com I said, that I love the combination of the Country Woods DSP backgrounds with the cute trees from Snowy Wonder. I loved it so much, that I made my own versions! Here’s the first of my Country Woods trees Christmas cards…
And if you missed Verity’s gorgeous cards please CLICK HERE to check them out. As much as I loved Verity’s unusual coloured trees, I opted for an array of greens for my cards.
I also turned some of my cards around to landscape…
I also added ribbon and gems to this one. The adhesive backed Swirl Dots go just as well with wood themed papers, as much as the coffee ones they were designed for! The ribbon is the polka dot one but just with the ‘wrong’ side showing…
I don’t have the dies that Verity used, so I substituted them with the Deckled Rectangles instead. I like the landscape one so made another…
Then I switched back to portrait for the 4th and final one, for now! I had fun playing with Verity’s design and might make even more nearer Christmas…
Why don’t you have a go too?
