Painted Lavender hand cream box – Touches of Ink Blog Hop October 2024

October 9, 2024
10 Comments

9 Oct

Today I’m taking part in the Touches of Ink blog hop, so you may have joined me from our new member of the group Karina Ruppert’s blog. Welcome! This month I’ve used the Painted Lavender stamp set and dies along with the Perennial Lavender DSP to make my Painted Lavender hand cream box…

I love the shape of this box…

ABOUT MY PROJECT

I love making and decorating gift boxes. With today’s Painted Lavender hand cream box I wanted to show how you can use up some of your favourite designer series paper scraps to decorate boxes.

The main body of the box is made with Crumb Cake card but all the die cut decorations are from Perennial Lavender DSP. Of course I also added little bit of stamping for the butterflies plus ribbons and embellishments.

YOUTUBE VIDEO

I’d love you to click on the image above to watch my video. Or if you prefer you can click here to pop over to YouTube and check out my tutorial for this Painted Lavender hand cream box.

Here’s the box I made in the video, alongside my original one…

    • score on the short side at 1-1/2″, 3″, 4-1/2″ and 6″
    • mark the short side at 2-1/4″ and 5-1/3″ so you know where to add the diagonal lines (see video for more details)
