Hello! I hope you are well. I had fully intended to take part in a video hop with a “Use your scraps” theme but totally ran out of time. That’s a bit of a theme for my life at the moment, lol. Anyway, I had planned what I was going to make, so I’ve made my Snowy Scenes scrap busting card now…
I saw a card sketch using strips that looked a bit like weaving and thought it was a cool idea. You don’t actually have to weave any strips of paper, it’s all about the order you glue them down…
How easy is that? I had a lot of strips left from other projects and a class where we used the super cut Snowy Scenes designer series paper so that’s what I used for today’s quick and easy card.
I did add in some stamping with Pool Party for the snowflakes and blended a little around the edges too. And of course I had to add a sentiment with Poppy Parade ink. My final flourish was to add some of the white loose snowflakes…
But I did feel sad that those adorable penguins had been chopped in half! Oops.
I really hope you like this card layout too and might give it a try.
