Today I’m taking part in the InspireInk blog hop, with a few of my talented Pootlers team mates. This month our theme is Summer. This theme had me stumped until I had a rummage through my ephemera packs and came up with this Summer ephemera card…
To me, Summer means blue seas and sunny skies. And way back in the day, it also meant receiving postcards from far flung corners of the world I could only dream of visiting. So that’s why I used that fabulous Azure Afternoon paper from Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ DSP pack. And why I used the large Perennial Postage die to make it look like an old fashioned postcard.
The rainbow and sun are from the Something For Everything ephemera pack. The clouds under the rainbow got a bit of sparkle from my Wink Of Stella pen…
The lovely bright Happy is from the Saying Something pack. I die cut the letters from Summer with the Mini Alphabet die, using Daffodil Delight card.
My final touches were to add some Glossy Dots to the front and then another symbol of summer to the inside of the card…
Playing with these ephemera packs is such fun!
