Split circles rainbow card – The Project Share Blog Hop – August 2024

Hello and welcome to the August 2024 Project Share Project blog hop. Our fabulous little group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators share each others projects every Thursday and also create a new project for a monthly Blog Hop. This month, our theme is Rainbow. I’ve created this bright split circles rainbow card…

ABOUT MY CARD

I used the fabulous Spotlight On Nature dies to cut circles from Brights Collection card. The dies I used show off the 3 different edges in the Spotlight On Nature dies pack. And I only used 3 from the 12 that you get in the pack.

The colours I used were Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Azure Afternoon and Berry Bright. You can buy just 1 pack of card that includes all of these colours and more. See my Product List below for more details.

After splitting my circles in half I glued them in rainbow order and joined them with a Happy Birthday sentiment strip. My stamp is from Simply Said. I do of course have the other halves left over so may make a Congratulations card next!

I added a layer of Bright & Beautiful DSP on my card base then added the split circles with dimensionals…

The final touch was a ribbon bow and some Glossy Dots in daffodil delight.
