Hearts & Hugs diagonal lidded box

Hello! I hope you are well. Do you ever revamp a project you’ve made recently, because you liked it so much? I did that with today’s Hearts & Hugs diagonal lidded box…

And here are the boxes that inspired this new version…

The reason I revamped the box was for our most recent craft class. I used Hearts & Hugs stamps and dies so that we could all choose our favourite cute creatures to stamp on the lid. And we all chose how we wanted to colour them too. So, everyone went home with their very own unique box, filled with sweeties!

Because of the way I decorated the lid of the box, I also altered how I used the ribbon on this version…

I also sent a craft kit for this box to my team members that are not able to come along to our craft class in Newtongrange, Midlothian, Scotland. They got the sweeties to put inside the box too! I can’t have them missing out on crafty fun or sweeties, lol. As I can’t send them stamped images, they got floral die cuts to use instead.

If you’d like to check out the YouTube tutorial for the original versions of this style of box please click on the image below…

Or if you prefer you can click here to pop over to YouTube and check out how to make this style of diagonal lidded box. If you enjoy watching my video, I’d love you to give it a thumbs up and leave me a comment too. If you haven’t already subscribed to my channel, make sure you do so when you’re there; so you don’t miss out on future videos.

Sorry Lynn, I made the white one for class so I didn’t bother with recording a new video. The construction is the same as in the previous video, just different decoration. The fun part was that everyone decorated theirs differently ❤️❤️
