ABOUT MY CARD
The Spotlight On Nature stamp set and dies are fabulous! The stamp set contains some lovely line art stamps that are perfect for colouring. The die set contains a selection of 12 circle dies of varying sizes and with lovely detailing around the edges. I reckon I’m going to use these a lot.
I used 2 of the dies to cut my Pecan Pie frame piece. Then I used the remainder of the card as a template to partially stamp the floral image. I also stamped the flower onto a sticky note and fussy cut it to use as a mask before blending Coastal Cabana ink. My Coastal Cabana watercolor pencil and blender pen were handy to fill in a few gaps. I used Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends to colour the flowers.
There’s a lovely splatter stamp in the set and I used that with Memento ink around the floral image. Then I used it with Fresh Freesia ink outside of where my circular frame was going. I actually cut 2 of the frames and glued them together to make it pop even more…
I stamped the sentiment with Pecan Pie ink and added a few iridescent pearls. This card layer was backed with Coastal Cabana card before being added to my Basic White Thick card base.
