Lovely & Sweet sympathy card – Touches of Ink Blog Hop April 2024

Today I’m taking part in the Touches of Ink blog hop, so you may have joined me from the lovely Liane Gorny’s blog. We are all using our free choice of bundle or suite from the current Stampin’ Up! catalogues or Online Exclusives. I’ve picked a bundle from the January to April 2024 mini catalogue for this Lovely & Sweet sympathy card…

ABOUT MY CARD

My card base is Thick Basic White card and I stamped the larges stamp from Lovely & Sweet directly onto the card base a couple of time, with Pebbled Path ink. I also used the texture stamp from the set in 2 of the corners of the base.

Then I chopped up 2 pieces of the Nature’s Sweetness designer series paper (DSP) to cover most of the stamping; just allowing some of the leaves to appear. There’s a lovely little note tab die in the Lovely & Sweet die set so I used that to cut some Pebbled Path card and added it to the top of one of the pieces of DSP.

I used a few of the smaller dies from the set to cut these tiny and super cute flowers and leaves…

The sentiment is also from Lovely & Sweet and is perfect for a sympathy card and was cut with another die from this brilliant bundle. My final touches were some faux leather trim and cork rounds.
