Hello! For last week’s Creative Colour Challenge I made a card with an inlaid die cut. This meant that I had the other die cut left over on my desk. So, I used it for today’s Gorgeously Made thank you card…
In case you missed last week’s card, here it is…
The background for the original card was created by spritzing ink with water on a glass mat and then picking it up with the piece of Basic White card. Click here to check out my video tutorial for the above card.
I used one of the Gorgeously Made dies to cut out the piece of the original background, to allow me to inlay the Old Olive die cut. This leftover die cut has been glued onto today’s card…
I used Stampin’ Blend markers to add some speckles to the white card layer before I added my die cut on top. This layer was added to some Orchid Oasis card and wrapped with some Tahitian Tide metallic ribbon before being added to the card base.
MEASUREMENTS
- Basic White Thick card – 29 cm x 10.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 14.5 cm
- Orchid Oasis card – 13.4 cm x 9.4 cm
- Basic White card – 13 cm x 9 cm
My sentiment is from Something Fancy and was stamped with Orchid Oasis ink. The final touch was to add some of the 2022-2024 In Color pearls. I’m going to be sad to see these bright colours retire in a few months.
