Gorgeously Made card – Creative Colour Challenge 125

about my CARD

I’m not boasting by calling this a Gorgeously Made card, that’s the name of one of the stamp sets and coordinating dies that I used for today’s card! The other stamp set is an Online Exclusive one called Of Art & Texture.

I made my card base with Sweet Sorbet card and cut the top of a piece of Basic White card with the notepad style die from Gorgeously Made. Then I stamped all over it with Orchid Oasis ink and stamps from Of Art & Texture. It now looks like my grid mat often does after a fun session of stamping, lol.

To add some texture to this piece I ran the blade of my paper snips along the 3 edges, curled up the corners and crumpled the whole piece. I really enjoyed this part of the process.

The die cuts I added were cut from Parakeet Party and Sweet Sorbet card. The sentiment is from Gorgeously Made and of course I had to add more ink to that too…

I added one dimensional to the top right corner of the layer to make sure it stayed put but still has some dimension. Then I added a little bit more stamping with the 3 colours to my card insert…

My final touch was to add some of the In Color pearls in each of the colours too.
