Hello! I am absolutely loving the whole of the Perennial Lavender suite in the new January to April 2024 mini catalogue. I just can’t stop playing with all the products in this gorgeous suite. So today I’ve got a Painted Lavender bouquet card to share with you…
This card uses stamps and dies from both the Painted Lavender bundle and the Perennial Postage bundle. They work so perfectly together!
My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a piece of Perennial Lavender designer series paper measuring 10 x 14 cm. The next layer is Basic White card cut with the second largest die from Perennial Postage. I stamped the sentiment from Perennial Postage in the bottom corner with Orchid Oasis card.
My next stage was to create my Painted Lavender bouquet. I stamped with Orchid Oasis, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Blackberry Bliss and Shaded Spruce inks then I cut each piece with their matching dies. I also added some die cuts from Lost Lagoon card.
Once they were all cut out I glued the blooms to the stems and arranged them into my bouquet. Then I wrapped it with Linen Thread, tied in a bow. The flowers are all glued to the base but the ends of the stems aren’t all glued down…
I think this really gives it a look of a hand tied bouquet, don’t you?
Of course, I had to add some of the Purple Fine Shimmer gems from the suite too!
I hope you like my Painted Lavender bouquet card and might try it out too.
