You’re a Rock Star card – Touches of Ink Blog Hop January 2024

Today I’m taking part in the Touches of Ink blog hop, so you may have joined me from my lovely friend Janice Thomson’s blog. We are all using our free choice of bundle or suite from the current Stampin’ Up! catalogues. I’ve used a brand new suite from the January to April 2024 mini catalogue for this You’re A Rock Star card…

The Rock & Roll 12″ x 12″ designer series paper is black and white, but I changed it up with a selection of Stampin’ Blends. I also used the Rock Star stamp set and dies bundle for the microphone, sentiment and embellishments.

The sentiment was actually stamped with Versamark onto the reverse side of the designer series paper I used for the card front and was heat embossed with gold powder. The microphone was stamped with Memento and coloured with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. The lightning flashes were die cut from Gold Foil. I just love the shine, don’t you?
