Perennial Lavender tea bag holder

Hello! Yesterday I shared some cards that I’d made with the Perennial Lavender product suite that will be available from tomorrow! And I promised that I had more to share with you. So, here’s my Perennial Lavender tea bag holder…

I thought these Chamomile & Lavender tea bags were perfect for this suite! When you untie the ribbon and open the holder up you get to see another sentiment plus the tea bag…

I’ve recorded a video to show you the whole of the Perennial Lavender product suite and how to create this Perennial Lavender tea bag holder.

youtube tutorial

I’d love you to click on the image above or if you prefer you can click here to pop over to YouTube and check out my Perennial Lavender suite showcase, the cards I shared yesterday and today’s project. If you enjoy watching my video, I’d love you to give it a thumbs up and leave me a comment too. If you haven’t already subscribed to my channel, make sure you do so when you’re there; so you don’t miss out on future videos.

Normally I take photos of the projects after I make them in my videos but I forgot to with these and they’ve been sent and received by my lovely customers. So, instead I’ve take a still from my video tutorial…

I think I prefer the Very Vanilla sentiment pieces and the coordinating vanilla and gold ribbon. Which do you prefer?

SUPPLIES

To make the Perennial Lavender tea bag holders I created in the video you’ll need the following supplies (when available):

  • Highland Heather card measuring 3-1/2″ x 10/12″
    • scored on the long side at 3-1/2″ and 7″
  • two pieces of Perennial Lavender designer series paper each measuring 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″
    • cut 1 piece on the diagonal, as shown in the video
  • Very Vanilla card measuring 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ for inside the tea bag holder
  • Very Vanilla card to stamp and die cut the sentiment for the front of the holder
  • Scraps of Highland Heather and Lost Lagoon card for the die cut decorations
  • ribbon
  • foam adhesive strips
