about my CARD

Sale-A-Bration starts on 4 January 2024 and will run until the end of February 2024. It’s that fabulous period of time where you can earn free products with qualifying orders. One of the products that will be on offer is the Detailed Dogwood stamp set that I used for today’s card.

I stamped the largest image in the Sale-A-Bration Detailed Dogwood stamp set with Lost Lagoon ink on to a piece of Basic White card. The centre of the flowers and the leaves were coloured with Lemon Lolly and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends. As we don’t have blends in Gorgeous Grape, I used a watercolour pencil for the petals instead. To smooth out the colour I also used a Blender pen. I then felt it needed a little sparkle so added some Wink of Stella to the petals too.

I stamped the crosshatch style stamp with Lemon Lolly ink and splattered some more Lemon Lolly to my stamped layer with my Stampin’ Blend. The sentiment is from Go To Greetings.

The stamped layer was mounted on a Lemon Lolly card base and I then added a Basic White layer inside that I’d also stamped…

Again, this was stamped with Lost Lagoon ink and I coloured it with Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends. My final touch was to add some Lemon Lolly gems for even more sparkle!
