Sparkling Snowflakes OSW

Hello! I love snowflakes on Christmas cards and the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set is perfect for creating multiples of cards at the same time. I used this set to stamp with various colours on a sheet of A4 card. This technique is known as a One Sheet Wonder, or OSW for short. Here’s my Sparkling Snowflakes OSW…

I haven’t used particularly traditional Christmas colours, but who says snowflakes have to be white, or blue? Lol.

I cut my A4 sheet into 4 sections that each measure 10 x 14 cm to use on my standard card bases. I used Basic White Thick card for the bases, measuring 14.5 x 21 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.

Here’s the first one I made…

As you can see from the photo I used Fresh Freesia, Bubble Bath, Highland Heather and Balmy Blue inks to stamp the Sparkling Snowflakes OSW. Before adding my stamped layers to the card bases I also added a sentiment from Sparkling Snowflakes and embossed the panel with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder.

I mixed the cards up so some are portrait and these ones are landscape…

Then I decided I would step up the last card a little…

I stamped the sentiment and this time cut it with a small retired circle punch and backed it with a slightly larger circle of Highland Heather card. I also added some white Iridescent Ribbon. All of the cards have a few rhinestones for that extra bit of sparkle.

That was so much fun! And you really can’t make a mistake, just keep on stamping those snowflakes and every card will be that little bit different.
