Today I’m taking part in the Stampin’ Dreams blog hop for September 2023. The theme this month is Autumn. So, I have used the fabulous Abundant Beauty decorative masks to make this Autumnal card…
The pack of Abundant Beauty decorative masks has a total of 7 stencils in it. 4 of them make up a sunflower and leaves when layered together; but then there are 3 more that I hadn’t noticed at first. There’s a dogstooth pattern, a snowflake one and then this awesome leaves and acorns one.
I put the mask over a piece of Basic White card and then added Copper Clay, Wild Wheat and Lemon Lime Twist inks through it with blending brushes. One I took the mask off the card, I added some Lemon Lolly all over it to take away the stark white background. I then gently added some more of the other 3 colours around the background too – just using the leftover ink on my brushes.
My sentiment is from Something Fancy and is stamped with Copper Clay ink on Wild Wheat card and cut it with a Deckled Rectangle die. To make it pop a bit more, I backed it with some Copper Clay card.
I coloured some Linen Thread with my Bronze Stampin’ Blend and added it to my card before putting the sentiment over it with dimensionals…
I hope you like this Abundant Beauty Autumnal card as much as I enjoyed making it! It’s so much fund to just play with these masks, inks and blending brushes.
