3 Note Cards with fun patchwork backgrounds – using Inked Botanicals DSP

Hello everyone!

I’ve been using Stampin’ Up! Note Cards & Envelopes for our in person classes this month with the Bright & Beautiful suite of products. So I decided to keep on using them, but with totally different papers, stamps and dies.

I cut 3 pieces of Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper to each measure 3″ x 4-1/2″, with 3 different complimentary designs. I then laid the 3 pieces together and chopped them all up into 3 random sections. I then mixed and matched the pieces, a bit like a jigsaw puzzle, and added them to 3 Note Cards.

I then added a die cut from Gorgeously Made, along with sentiments from the Gorgeously Made stamp set.

Here are the results…

I stupidly decided to rearrange the pieces on one of the cards, before remembering that I had some directional patterns so I’ve ended up with falling leaves, which is fine, but also have some flowers growing downwards…

Oh well, we all make mistakes, eh? I just probably make a few more than most and am happy to admit to them! Lol.

All my sentiments were stamped with Calypso Coral ink and then I stamped over them with the text stamp, using Petal Pink ink. I cut them with one of the Gorgeously Made dies and added a bit more Petal Pink ink with a blending brush.
