Hello! I hope you are well.
We have a lovely lady that frequently contributes to our Crafty Scots Corner Facebook Group (why not join us?) called Randy Esposito and she’s been sharing lots of different cards that use up scraps of DSP. One of my favourites and the inspiration for today’s card is the sunburst pattern…
I had lots of scraps of the Hello, Irresistible designer series paper pack left over from classes and other projects so they were my obvious choice for this technique. I even cut the flowers and leaves from the paper pack.
I recorded a video to show you this scrap busting technique and to make a second card. I’d love you to click on the image below to take a look…
Or you can CLICK HERE to pop over and watch it on YouTube. You can then comment and give me a thumbs up there too, if you’d like!
Here’s the one I made in the video…
For the first card I used Lost Lagoon for my card base and in the video I used Petal Pink. I added a white panel with a little bit of ink blending to the inside of both cards…
Here are the 2 versions together…
Which one do you prefer?
I hope you like today’s cards and will give this fun technique a try!
