Stampin’ Up! give us monthly challenge to demonstrate some #simplestamping and for June 2023 there is no set theme, but we should use, stamps, ink, paper and card. The idea is to show how easy it can be to make cards without a huge list of products.
I’ve used the Gorgeously Made stamp set along with the Masterfully Made designer series paper to create this card…
I made a card base with Pretty Peacock card, measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm. I then cut a piece of the Masterfully Made 12″ x 12″ paper to measure 10 x 14 cm. I cut a piece of white card for the inside that also measures 10 x 14 cm. I stamped the Thank You sentiment from Gorgeously Made with Pretty Peacock ink onto a scrap of white card that I trimmed to fit, using my paper snips.
I used the same ink and stamp set to stamp on the insert too…
I added the text stamping on the insert to compliment the text in the background of the Masterfully Made DSP. To get a lighter shade of ink for the text, I inked it up then stamped on some scrap printer paper before stamping on my card insert. This is a great way of getting more tones from your one ink pad.
