The first suite of products I put on my wish and then shopping lists from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue was the Bright & Beautiful suite. And not just because it’s the first suite to be featured in the catalogue, lol!
I love the party vibes from all of the products available in this suite! It’s been so much fun to create with and this is my latest card using the stamps, dies and the printed acetate…
I made a square card base with Daffodil Delight card measuring 5-3/4″ x 11-1/2″. I then cut a piece of Basic White card to measure 5-5/8″ x 5-5/8″ plus some Daffodil Delight designer series paper to measure 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. I glued the DSP to the white card and then cut it with the large triple balloon die from Beautiful Balloons. I added some of the Gold Celebrations acetate (which has silver on the other side!) to cover up the aperture I’d created.
I raised the whole DSP panel up with foam adhesive strips and made a little enclosure around the acetate to keep the Iridescent Shaker Circles in place…
Now that the shaker card was constructed it was time to get on with the added decorations. I added another big balloon with the happy birthday message stamped in Daffodil Delight ink and gold heat embossing around it. The sentiment was heat embossed with gold too and cut to size before I punched the ends to give that ticket style shape with the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. I cut some Daffodil Delight card with the fringe die from Beautiful Balloons and added it to the back of the sentiment.
I die cut 3 tassels from Gold Foil sheet to complete the decoration on the front of the card.
I didn’t want to waste the piece I’d die cut to make the shaker element so I added it to the inside of the card front, with some little bits of extra stamping too…
I added a white layer to the inside and stamped that with the large ribbon stamp with Daffodil Delight ink too.
